Brandon Chimenti

Pro Backcountry Freerider

Born in 1981, and growing up in the North Western corner of Wyoming with legendary Togwotee Pass as his backyard playground, Professional Backcountry Freerider, Brandon Chimenti has been on the snow every riding season of his life.  Now in the 33rd season of his riding career, at an age of 32, Brandon has racked up more seat time than most people do in their entire lifetime.  All though a little Hill X, Hill Climbs, and Freestyle can be included in his repertoire, when asked about riding Brandon’s response is; “I live to Freeride, it’s my release.  Doesn’t matter what is going on at home or work, when I’m in the backcountry lining up a big hit, squaring up a chute, or weaving through trees that I can barely see through let alone fit a sled between, at that moment everything else disappears.  I’ve never found that absolute freedom anywhere else!  Plus after a line like that, when you park back next to some of your greatest friends and everyone is stoked; you get to look around and realize your riding some of the most amazing places in the world.  Places most people only get to see in post cards.”

In 2003, Brandon cofounded 10 High with his younger brother.  10 High has released seven full length videos, a small line of casual wear and several online videos.  On top of working with Driven, Brandon has been a licensed guide for seven years; guiding for 3C Guiding on the Snowy Range, Sierra Madres and Togwotee Pass. While guiding Brandon is able to teach riding technique, along with promoting avalanche safety and backcountry preparedness.  Brandon is a proud ambassador for: Motorfist, Aerocharger, Zbroz Racing, XXX Mod Rods, Laramie General Motors Company.  Additionally, Brandon has been featured either through social media, print, or video by: Sledheads, Sno-Dak News, Wyoming Elements Magazine, Albany County Tourism, First Place Parts, Blown Motor, Alpine Assassins, Summit HD, Extreme Team, PBS, Skeptic Productions, Tracy Long Photography, Snowtrails TV, and many others.

With all the things throughout the snowmobile industry that Brandon is involved with, the one thing across the board that always remains true, is his passionate personality towards riding and his eagerness to share it with others.
